Amazon Route 53

Recenzje, oceny i profil firmy dla Amazon Route 53.

Amazon Route 53 is a dependable domain name registrar and DNS routing service provided by AWS (Amazon Web Services). They offer efficient and cost-effective solutions for directing users to web applications. Route 53 seamlessly manages user requests, whether they're within AWS or outside, ensuring smooth navigation to the intended destinations.

Route 53 hooks you up with all the stuff running in the AWS ecosystem, like Amazon EC2 instances, Elastic Load Balancing load balusters, and Amazon S3 buckets. Plus, they are fully compliant with IPv6 and can take care of domain registration and DNS routing for you.

One cool thing about Route 53 is that they can run automated health checks on resources and apps. Basically, they keep an eye on your setup and reroutes traffic if something goes south, like if there's an internet outage or other issues.

For domain registration, Route 53 provides easy access to popular domains like .com or .org and supports various generic and geographical top-level domains. They make it simple to transfer domains from other registrars. And since it's part of the AWS ecosystem, setting up DNS settings is straightforward.

Speaking of safety, Route 53 takes security seriously. You're in control of who can access your DNS info, thanks to AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM). Your zones and records stay locked down tight.

Route 53 operates on a pay-as-you-go model, so you only pay for the number of zones that you use and the number of queries your users make. Their cost dynamic flexibility means that you can get a cost-effective service for projects of any size.

Amazon Route 53 is your practical solution for domain registration and DNS routing. They are versatile, reliable, and super secure. With their easy-to-use interfaces, top-notch security, and budget-friendly pricing, they are a hit with businesses and developers alike. Whether you're registering new domains, moving existing ones, or directing users to your app, Route 53 has you covered with a platform that's user-friendly and ready to tackle all your web project and business needs.

AWS charges 6 USD extra per year for DNS records

    przez FN

    opublikowany 4 lata temu

AWS charges a minimum of 50 cents extra per month for DNS record management. Which I thought comes included when getting a Domain! Why would anyone get a Domain without being able to set DNS records. I feel cheated. I wish I had seen a (bigger) warning when comparing prices on tld-list.com.

The price is 6 USD higher per year than expected.

Be careful to the hidden fee!!

Was charged extra $0.53 every month as hidden fee (which is equivalently $6.18/year). In addition, the UI was diffcult to use and every operation takes some time to be applied. Don't use Amazon Route 53 unless you know what you are doing.

Same to Fn and anonymous user, extra DNS fee for Route 53 is totally not preventable, and they struggle to ask for your identity files, otherwise your account will be locked and domain names be deleted.
